Build three foundations to empower AI to delve deeper into oil and gas exploration from the industry

On August 22, the 2024 China International Oil and Gas Exploration Technology Annual Conference and New Technology Achievement Exhibition, jointly hosted by the China Petroleum Society and other units, with the theme of "Innovation driven Technology, Promoting Efficient Exploration, and Supporting Energy Transformation", was successfully held in Beijing. More than 700 academicians from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering, as well as experts and scholars from well-known energy companies, universities, and research institutions such as PetroChina, Sinopec, CNOOC, and Yanchang Petroleum, participated in the conference. Jointly explore the theory of oil and gas exploration, improve the level of oil and gas exploration technology, continuously consolidate the resource foundation for high-quality development, help increase reserves and production, and ensure national energy security.
