On March 20, the 11,846 ton Enping 20-4 vessel was successfully launched and accurately positioned in the waters of the Enping Oilfield, about 200 kilometers southwest of Shenzhen. This is the first large facility to be installed offshore in the eastern part of the South China Sea in years. Its successful launch will further accelerate the development and construction of new oil fields and help China's offshore oil and gas capacity building.
